MobiStor versus a national container brand.
An honest side-by-side of MobiStor and PODS for storage in North Central Ohio — price, container size, delivery, and who you actually talk to.
Short answer
If you are comparing MobiStor and PODS for a move or remodel in North Central Ohio, the short answer is this: MobiStor is a flat $249 per month with flat $30 delivery within 35 miles of Mansfield, and the driver who brings your container works for us. PODS quotes vary by season, route, and demand, and local service is fulfilled through a national network. Our container is 16 feet long — one drop instead of stacking multiple small units — and because our yard sits on N Main Street in Mansfield, we can pick up a loaded container and hold it when your closing date slides. If you are moving out of state, PODS has the long-haul network and we will tell you so. For storage that stays in Ohio, local wins on price, speed, and who answers the phone.

Pick PODS if you are moving to another state and need the container hauled across the country. That is a genuine strength of a national network and not something a local operator should pretend to match.
Common questions
Is MobiStor cheaper than PODS in Mansfield?
For local storage in the Mansfield area, usually yes. MobiStor is a flat $249 per month with a flat $30 delivery fee inside 35 miles. PODS pricing is quoted per move and typically adds delivery and pickup charges on top of the monthly rental.
Is a MobiStor container the same size as a PODS container?
Our Mobi is 16 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 8 feet tall — comparable to a large PODS unit and enough for 3–4 rooms of furniture. Smaller national units often mean renting two containers to fit the same load.
Can MobiStor store my container like a PODS storage center?
Yes. We pick up the loaded container and store it in our secure Mansfield yard, then re-deliver to your new address when you are ready.
Does MobiStor deliver outside the Mansfield area?
Yes — anywhere in Ohio. Delivery is a flat $30 within 35 miles of Mansfield, then $4 per mile one way beyond that, applied to delivery and to pickup.
